It is one of the flourishing tourist attractions of North East India and most visited destinations in Sikkim. The word “Gangtok” translates to “hillside” and is derived from the Tibetan vocabulary. This hilly town offers some of the fascinating views of Great Eastern Himalayas, including Mt. Kanchendzonga.
