•    Slejalandsfoss is very famous for its route behind the waterfall for visitors to enjoy its view. You must walk down the track behind the waterfall to watch the river fall from the cliffs. The site is mind blowing, you get to see one of the most picturesque sites of nature

How to get to the waterfall

After you leave from the Keflavik International Airport, you need to drive down towards the southern side of island; the waterfall is just at the off Ring Road, approximately 1,120km from Reykjavik you need to take left towards Seljalandsmuli that is on road 249. A drive of one kilometer and you reach your destination.
