In the late 1990’s Boeing was planning to manufacture a replacement for 767 due to slackened sales. This happened due to rising sales of Airbus A330-2oo. This gave rise to great competition. Ground testing and Flight testing

An important part of the manufacture of Boeing 787 is the certification from the Rolls- Royce Trent 1000. It also got approval from US and European regulators. Thus, various tests were organized and the Boeing 787 cleared all of them.The Boeing 787 went through a 9-month test program. It took a lot of time to present its main features. It passed all its tests in approximately 8.5 months. Thereby, it was declared extremely safe for travel and enjoys its journey.

Boeing, the test plane’s interior has 135 seats, several lavatories, and dual crew rests. “Passengers will be welcomed onto the 787 by sweeping arches, dynamic lighting, larger lavatories, more spacious luggage bins, and electronic window shades whose transparency they can change during flight,” the company said in a release.The inside facilities and services are comparable to five star hotels.So much care is given to the interior construction to make the journey a memorable experience.
