Suggesting a place

If you are proposing an entry, it helps enormously if you can include roughly where it is — a coordinate pair, a nearby settlement, or even a rough description of the approach. We do not publish anywhere we cannot locate, so a place without a position tends to sit in the queue indefinitely.

Corrections

If we have a coordinate wrong, a road closed, or a name misspelled, tell us and we will fix it and note the change. Getting the position right is most of the point of this catalogue, so corrections go to the front of the queue.

Please note that we read every message but cannot always reply individually. If you have written about a place and not heard back, it does not mean the suggestion was rejected — it usually means somebody is still trying to work out how to get there.
